Make a count: just how many AC/DC adapters are you using daily? How many more do you have to keep in addition? How many
would actually be necessary is only someone cared to make them standard?

Finally, this simple question: What is so complicated in the AC/DC conversion that a major electrical engineering organization such as IEEE could not make your life simpler?

ya, if we want to determine any losers.So we can,t say this is loser or winner only on the basis of advantages and drawbacks.
because if we take one example that petrol(gas).We all know that this is create so much pollution and sideeffect on environment, but still we use because it provide facility for transportation rather than on walk or on bicycle.
Where on the other side it is too cheaper production of electricity if we produced it from Nucluer power plant although,we not do so much.Because it may very bad effect on environment.
SO winners are sometime determine for public facility where some time loser are determine due to another side effect
