It is hard to understand why this project is called a winner. The article is technically interesting but what happens once all that oil has been found? Most of it will be burned in some way or the other which is well known to have a very negative environmental impact. According to the definitions given in the introduction to the winner-looser articles, this would qualify clearly as a looser.
