I am certain that something like this will finally appear, but the key will be user acceptance. This is not only about functionality, but also about acceptance in terms of look, feel and price. Present versions look too heavy and unfashionable. Give the technology another 10 years and you will start to see them as fashion accessories. But if games consoles decide they could be a useful part of the interface, then we might not have to wait 5 years. Who knows?
